Advancing Parkinson’s Treatment Through Exercise: The First Brazilian Seminar

The I Seminar on New Trends in Parkinson’s Disease Treatment is an annual initiative by the Parkinson Gait and Posture Brazil study group. This event creates a unique platform for researchers, students, and health professionals to engage in discussions about diagnosis, treatment, and care for people with Parkinson’s disease. The inaugural seminar focuses on how different exercise modalities can enhance treatment outcomes.

Through lectures, roundtables, and poster sessions, participants will explore cutting-edge scientific and practical topics related to exercise quality in Parkinson’s care. The seminar aims to foster national collaboration, strengthen academic training, and promote knowledge exchange between universities and health professionals.

Expected to gather around 100 participants and host approximately 50 research presentations, the event promises to impact research, education, and community care by elevating scientific standards and encouraging innovative projects. This seminar marks a significant step toward improving Parkinson’s treatment and enhancing quality of life for affected individuals.
