The Brazilian Congress of Motor Behavior (CBCM) is an official event of SOCIBRACOM (Brazilian Society of Motor Behavior) and constitutes the main scientific academic event, in the national scenario, in the area of Motor Behavior.
The CBCM had its origin in the 1st Motor Behavior Seminar, held by the School of Physical Education at USP. In 2002 it became known as the 1st Brazilian Congress of Motor Behavior.
The CBCM is held every two years, and has already taken place in:
2004 – Federal University of Minas Gerais;
2006 – UNESP of Rio Claro
2008 – University of São Paulo
2010 – State University of Londrina
2012 – Cruzeiro do Sul University
2014 – Federal University of Minas Gerais
2016 – Federal University of Paraíba
2018 – UNESP of Bauru
In 2020, Vitória – ES would host the X Brazilian Congress of Motor Behavior (X CBCM) with the support of the Center for Physical Education and Sports of the Federal University of Espírito Santo (CEFD – UFES) and SOCIBRACOM. However, with the pandemic installed for the new coronavirus (COVID-19), the event was held online.
Scholars, professionals and post-graduate and undergraduate students in the field of motor behavior and related fields met through virtual and online platforms, and certainly added knowledge and learned from the lectures that were excellent!
